Using your Tbaytel Calling Card

To place a call from Canada or the United States using your calling card

1. Dial the access number 1-800-550-4629 or 1-866-822-9835 (1-866-TBAYTEL). This will ensure that you’ll be connected to the Tbaytel Service and your Tbaytel Long Distance Savings Plan every time you make a call.
2. Enter your PIN when prompted. For your security reasons, memorize your PIN.
3. Enter the area code and telephone number you wish to reach.

 

To place a call from outside Canada or the United States using your calling card

1. Before you travel, find the Canada Direct™ International access code for the country you will be travelling to below or by calling Tbaytel at 807-623-4400 or 1-800-264-9501.
2. Dial this access code, then follow the prompts, selecting Telus Communications Inc. as the preferred carrier.
3. Enter your PIN when prompted. For your security reasons, memorize your PIN.
4. Enter the area code and telephone number you wish to reach.

Security:

Protect your Tbaytel Calling Card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) at all times. When entering your Calling Card Number and PIN on the keypad or reading the number to the operator, ensure that no one can see or hear the numbers. If your Tbaytel Calling Card is lost or stolen, or if you suspect others have obtained your numbers for fraudulent use, report it immediately. Call 807-623-4400 or 1-800-264-9501. You can select a new PIN or request a new Calling Card number.

Depending on the origin and destination of your call and which Tbaytel Long Distance Saving Plan you’ve selected, rates will vary. Call us for more information about our Long Distance Savings Plans at 807-623-4400 or 1-800-264-9501. Transaction charges may apply to some calls. Charges and rates are subject to change without notice. Please note that all calls to the access number 1-800-550-4629 or 1-866-TBAYTEL are toll free, including those from a payphone. However, there may be a small surcharge on your hotel bill. Charges for actual long distance number dialed will appear on your monthly bill from Tbaytel.
